I found that when you know you have these issues a couple of precautions help allot when you have to work:

1 Organize (keep things in the same place every time- force yourself to do this.

2. write down notes as you go to remind yourself later what you were doing and where you were- keep this in the same place.

3 at the end of the day, before you go home, write down what you need to start on first the next day- These are the top two or 3 priorities. Do this especially if it is the end of your work week. Keep this on top of your keyboard/ in your wallet or someplace that you will look for it first the next work day.

4. Keep a positive attitude about your work- don't let stress creep in. Just take it a task at a time. What ever you can't get to will be waiting on your list for the next day. Take a deep breath and congratulate yourself when you complete each task.

5. Smile allot and be happy that you are beating this disease. Your Job enables you to stay on the protocol. You are not a victim; instead you are proactively choosing a better life.

6 share with others when asked about the disease and the new life that the MP is giving you when you are comfortable- be careful though, some think this makes you less capable as an employee so only share when you need to. Also federal law (for US folks) protects you from discrimination and wrongful termination, but you have to let HR know about your condition before this is of any affect. I waited for 5 months before sharing with my HR and I had to because the travel was hurting me and I had to let the boss know that I couldn't travel that much. It all worked out well.

7. When travelling to / from work I try to leave home so I get to work before the sun comes up and leave work when it is dusk. I try not to leave work during the day for lunch etc. to minimize exposure plus this means I control what I eat since I bring it from home.

8 Make your self a good lunch and good snacks for the day- you will look forward to this when others are bringing in junk food or inviting you to go out.
